How fun! I love the toolbox. The other kids are probably just jealous.
Are they really acting like 12-year-olds?

They've just all been taking these classes together for some time. And not just from one session to the next, but they sign up for both the morning and afternoon class (it's basically just an open studio setup), so they're there together all day, with lunch at the big worktable between the two class periods. I can't say they seemed especially happy to have to make room for two new girls when the afternoon period rolled around. There was one woman who was very nice. And we have each other!

Cliques! They never go away. I suggest you rent Mean Girls and brush up.
